Be able to Import/Export Cobalt CFG files just like you can with ASC3 Data Base Files
I’m trying to import a file into Centracs that I grabbed from a Cobalt via a USB memory stick.
Centracs Version 2.1.3.21. Cobalt Version 32.65.30.
When I do the import I can only choose a .DB file even though you can see on the left (Entity Configuration) the entity is setup for a Cobalt.
I can actually rename the file as ASC3.DB and it will allow me up import and all of the data appears to be correct. I store in Centracs and close the editor. Then with I open the editor back up and try to export the data, Centracs will appear to functionally export the files, but when I place them in virtual controller then come up as a default L3000 Econolite data base.
Our typical application is We build a Cabinet and programs the controller for the sequence. The engineers bring the data base in their system for further programming and testing, then install the data base back in the controller.
This was easily done in the Aries days (laoptop’s and local PCs) and with ASC3’s and Centracs. Now with a Cobalt and Centracs there is not always a way to actually hook the Cobalt to the Centracs network when they are in the office.

This is planned for the 2.2.2 Centracs Release. Please see your support engineer about the scheduled date for this release.
