Add imap protocol to email server type options.
Imap is common in Outlook and Exchange servers. Our municipality does not use POP. I was told by our IT dept. that POP is less secure.

Add the ability to set a max to the amount of same alerts sent from centracs.
We are currently set up to receive email and text when a signal goes into flash and comes out of flash. One of the problems we have with that is sometimes a signal will go in and out of flash multiple times. Every time that happens we receive a notification. recently 2 of our signals had similar but slightly different problems. Signals 1 had a BIU issue that made the controller think the signal was going in and out of flash every 1 to 6 seconds even though the signal was not actually flashing. Be able to Import/Export Cobalt CFG files just like you can with ASC3 Data Base Files
I’m trying to import a file into Centracs that I grabbed from a Cobalt via a USB memory stick.
Centracs Version 2.1.3.21. Cobalt Version 32.65.30.
When I do the import I can only choose a .DB file even though you can see on the left (Entity Configuration) the entity is setup for a Cobalt.
I can actually rename the file as ASC3.DB and it will allow me up import and all of the data appears to be correct. I store in Centracs and close the editor. Then with I open the editor back up and try to export the data,…

The UPS will report lost contact, on battery, or AC power lost. This will give advance warning of power issues.

Alert list process should be user based and not System base
All users may use different alerts for notifications tracking. but when multiple people are using the same alert list and 1 person "closes all" for whatever reason. Another user(s) will not have a accurate view of the list they are trying to monitor. Each user should be able to only clear whats on their screen and not have it affect all other users screen.

Change "Bad" to "Poor"
Alerts and events logged typically have an adjective to denote the quality of an aspect of the system. For example, when communication decreases, an alert may display as "Communication Bad". Would it be possible to change this to "Communication Poor?" This should also apply to other alerts--"Bad" should be "Poor."

Alert Trigger Editor - Fault Flash ON - Event Trigger Type should be in seconds, not minutes.
Currently, when using the Alerts and Events editor, the "Fault Flash - ON" Entry only allows for the event to trigger either once, X times in Y minutes, or active for Z minutes.
It would be preferred if we could set the third option in seconds, as waiting 1 full minute to get the alert is too long, but receiving the alert immediately runs the risk of receiving alerts for false alarms.

Export Detector Data Export Format
Export detector data in a different format. Preferably one that can be read directly into Synchro. Recommended format would label the columns with the Intersection Name or Description (user decides), detector ID, date, and Time and the rows would contain all recorded data. The table should look as follows:

Allow exception / holiday days to be used in the scheduler as the active days.
Instead of having a scheduled event NOT run during exception/holiday days, I need the scheduled event to run on those days. Since users can group multiple days in the Exception/Holiday days event, it would be useful to be able to create and activate events during the holidays. Example: If a user creates an exception event for all fixed holidays during the year, it would be useful to be able to use that exception event for calling special patterns for those days with one scheduled event, instead of programming one for each holiday.

When using search bar in the entity tree, populate the query as you type and not wait until the entire string is entered
When using the search function, it would be nice to have results show up when you enter in portions of the name of the intersection you are searching for. Some of the intersections we have rather long names.

Savable Print Templates
When printing make all the check box selections savable to a template. This would allow an user to selct that print template when printing timing sheets and not have to go through all the selections every time. EX: I could make a "3 timing plan, 8 phase, no overlap" template and use that when printing normal 8-phase quad intersections.

Allow Trafficcast's Bluetoad to display travel time as a function of the average of the last 12 similar days, just like their website doe
Travel time compared to last 12 average days is more powerful to traffic operations than speed vs speed limit when dealing with cooridor that frequently run below speed limit. The data is available on Trafficcast's website.

Centracs MMS Icon editor
Centracs MMS does have an extensive list of Icons, however the list is severely lacking when moving beyond the traffic world. For this product to be stand alone or City wide it needs to be all encompassing. Adding the ability to add custom icons and then categorize them for various City departments would be an exceptional step forward.
